Two blocks of world ranking seeded players. Top 8 in block A, second 8 in block B.
Players can warm up with controlled shots, but no jumps, before the start of play as long as there are no hoop setters working on the court.
5 minutes warm up before the first game is permitted and after any hold up of over one hour, eg. a bye.
Games will be one hour timed 13 point games. Stop on the bell unless the score is equal - then play until one hoop is scored.
One round of the block will be played on Saturday and the second on Sunday. The winner of each block will receive the prizes. The winner is the player with the most games won, and nett hoops. In the case of tied first position, the winner will be the player who won the game/s against the other player - if equal, then highest nett hoops of those 2 games.
If a player withdraws from the tournament, their scores will be voided from the competition but still exist on their handicap cards and for world rankings.
If a player forfeits a game that has begun, the score will be the current score of the forfeiter and 7 for the opponent. If a player forfeits all games not yet played, their score will be 0/7 for each unplayed game.
If a player is more than 15 minutes late for a game, the game will be forfeited to the opponent 7/0.
The player who wins the toss on the first day, loses the toss on the 2nd day.
We hope that everyone has a very enjoyable weekend.
The games may be video live streamed or recorded to YouTube.
